Vegas – Now Is The Time

With the recent economical downturn, tourism is suffering across the world. The favorite USA tourist city of Las Vegas, Nevada has been unfairly targeted by high ranking government employees that portrayed the city as extravagant.

The city has been combatting these tough times by offering discounts for hotel room rates and airfare. Even though travel has decreased, recent combined efforts by airlines and the hotels have resulted in a noticeable difference in increased bookings.

Many places are offering promotional deals which include heavy discounts on food, beverages, and entertainment in addition to discounted hotel room rates. Leafing through the many promotional offers available on the web, I found some excellent deals including upgraded rooms and suites with packages for popular shows such as Defending The Caveman, Carrot Top, and Zumanity, deals for valuable discounts for top notch restaurants, and complimentary drinks at chic night clubs. However, I have learned that the best deals are available as flight and hotel package specials.

I recently spoke to some Las Vegas tourism professionals that advised me that prices are the lowest that they have seen in a long time. One webmaster whom spoke off the record said that despite the fact that bookings were lower, the folks that are going to Sin City are obtaining incredible deals that have not been seen in years! He pointed to the all day buffet specials that are being run at Excalibur, The Orleans, and MGM Grand. For between twenty dollars to thirty dollars, a hungry tourist can eat all day long! This is an incredible bargain!

One of the pros that I spoke with is a helpful gentleman that is known as the moniker “MikeyMike” and provides Las Vegas promo codes in lists on forums such as OpenVegas.Com and CasinoTripReports.Com and often helps tourists locate the most economical deal. MikeyMike stated that the trip costs have dropped dramatically over the last few weeks.

“The air and hotel room package combos that are currently available are amazing!”, MikeyMike said via electronic mail, “I just checked the pricing of a four night stay in late October 2009 for some friends. With a awesome offer from Fun Jet Vacations, they will be flying from Ohio and staying at Wynn for a little bit over $100 per night (flight included)! The rates are much lower for places such as Excalibur and Circus Circus.”

If you have ever dreamed of a Vegas vacation, it seems that there is no better time to place reservations at a low price than right now!
