Austria has the advantage of a combination of a placid atmosphere of patriarchal small villages and a highly developed tourist infrastructure. There are downhills for all tastes: sleep and easy slopes and sloping down on virgin snow. There is also a lot of footpaths honestly dozed for the meditative natures, preferring long melancholic walks. The Alpine resorts are attractive also for the representatives of a glorious tribe snowboarders (in recent years snowboarding got a popularity among our fans of active leisure).
Stay in above-listed prestigious regions needs considerable expenses. Week in a hotel (three-four stars) will cost you more than a thousand dollars. Add on expenses on dinners and suppers, solarium, evening entertainments, rent of equipment, service of instructors, etc.
